1000th blog post and big news
Today is the 1000th blog post and I thought it would be exciting to share some big news with you, my faithful blog friends. In a few weeks, I’m thrilled to announce a brand new website coming and new blog look for My Crazy Adoption! Roger (my hubs) and I will be joining together to create a place you can visit and learn more about our ministry, Simply Love and Man Up. Love and Protect the Fatherless. This has been a big dream of ours and God brought an amazingly talented, mission-hearted friend, Andrea La Valleur (visit her Twitter here) to curate our new website.
We want to continue to encourage you to serve and love big all around the world directing you to the best adoption agencies, mission organizations, orphan care projects and radical mission trips. I want to continue to blog and connect as moms, encouraging each other in our daily lives as we strive together to be world changers.
We are wrapping up our six months in Nicaragua and this week, I want to feature five photographs that have special meaning of our time serving with Project Hope mission teams. Thank you again and again for your support, prayers, and cheers this year on our Gibson mission adventure. We have raised 80% of our monthly support and ask you to consider helping us end well in Nicaragua by donating a one-time gift to Simply Love. Give here.
Photo: Hannah and Taylor – We are so happy to have our niece, Taylor Smalley serving with us in Nicaragua. She visits New Life orphanage almost every day to care for the precious children and help with cuddling, feeding, changing, and playing. She also helps lead team worship with her guitar and beautiful voice. Most of all, our daughter Hannah shared that Taylor was the best thing that happened to her on the mission field… she brings us joy and lots of laughs. Together, they are making a difference in the village of Mateare and programs we serve with Project Hope.
