I Need Guest Bloggers – Can U Be Crazy?
I love my crazy readers and want to invite you to blog for me when I’m on my mission trip to Africa in July? I will be in Uganda and Ethiopia for 14 days and want you to entertain and support and encourage and inspire while I’m gone. Yep- I’m asking early to start getting things organized. Here’s a few things I think would be great… YOU PICK:
- Are you a crazy mom or dad or parent-to-be or happily single?
- mommyhood
- Do you like to write funny, crazy, inspiring stories?
- Do you advocate for adoption or orphans?
- Do you have parenting advice on subjects that help with day to day craziness?
- Do you love to cook and share recipes?
- Do you have any DIY Mommy activities for the summer?
- ANY thing fun & crazy you want to share… sky is the limit.
If any of of these subjects make you want to be my crazy bloggy guest for a day, please leave me a comment on this post and add your email… I will contact you. All I need is your “completed post” and some pics or video to match your subject or clip art + your URL link + 1 horizontal pic I can crop for the thumbnail at the top of post. Deadline for guest posts- June 30th, but you can send sooner!!!
CRAZY ADOPTION FAMILIES:
I also need a new June, July, and August Adoption Family… leave me a comment. I need a few things: photos, gotcha video (if you have one- HTLM code), and a few paragraphs WHY adoption has made a difference in your life, family, etc. Also the challenges you have faced
and joys and miracles. The post is meant to inspire and encourage, but also show the real side of life. You can make your “adoption post” as long or short as you want. Add 2-3 sentence testimoney of what adoption means to you. That’s all I need for you to be a crazy adoption family!!!
Well, I'm not a mom yet, so I don't have anything to offer in the way of mommy activities. I'm pretty new to this adoption process (about 9 months?). I'm a complete newbie. But I love to share our story. I love to share the stories of others, and anything else that comes my way. But, if I can help out in any way while you are gone, you just let me know! If you think there is something for me, you just let me know! hahaha! 🙂 If not, I will just keep reading away!
Does any of this qualify me as crazy? Mom of a toddler (enough said, really…), hoping to travel to China in August for toddler #2, just finished our dossier for Ethiopia for baby #3. Big heart for orphans, love mommy activities and recipes too. Just got back from a mission trip to Zimbabwe. Are we twins?
I'm not sure if I qualify, but I have 3 kids 4 and under and love to plan ahead for meals with a lot of freezer cooking. I would love to share because some people don't know they can freeze things ahead of time – I'm still learning a lot myself! 🙂 Also, iMOM has a really great program going on for moms for summer that I would love to have you and all of your readers check out and jump in with – you can check it out on my blog or here: http://www.imom.com/page.php?id=157
I will be praying for your trip! 🙂
I could maybe write about how CRAZY people thought we were to adopt an HIV+ child or how CRAZY they called us when we adopted 2 teenagers…? Trouble is… THEY were the only 'crazy' ones, for choosing to miss out on such wild blessings! 🙂
You know me! Crazy in love with Jesus, crazy momma, and a wanna be crazy gourmet cook! So yes lemme be in the crazy interview process of am I good enough to stand in for Kari! HA HA!!! Love ya girl and I can't believe I didn't have you on my blog roll! I for sure thought I did! You are there now!
I'm so excited to read your comments and your emails about being my guest. Also, if you know someone you think would be a GREAT CRAZY bloggy guest… pass this on. I want to have 13 awesome post days for you when I'm in Africa! This is all for you:)
You can start sending me your "post ready" asap! I want plenty of time to organize…

Hey! Mommy to one homegrown 2 year old, on the waitlist for baby boy #2 from Ethiopia…and already planning number 3, 4…you get the picture lol! I would love to share how God used my trip to Russia back when I was in high school with Children's Hope Chest to lead us to where we are today.
I woke up on Easter morning and opened up a book I have been reading called “Possessing Joy,” by Steve Backlund. The title of the chapter that I was beginning was called “Destination Disease,” which went on to talk all about how our joy cannot be dependant upon reaching our destination. With the Boston Marathon just around the corner it was a timely word. I find myself easily drifting off thinking about how I would feel after winning the Boston Marathon. Not that it is a bad thing to dream about achieving coach
casual shoes a life goal, but the joy in achieving vibram
5 fingers the goal should only add to five
fingers shoes the complete joy I should experience everyday. An hour later I headed out to church for our Easter Sunday service. The pastor gave a very similar message to what I had just read. He spoke about asics
onitsuka tiger being living in the moment and how Jesus’ death and resurrection tore the veil between man and God and gave five
finger running shoes every man opportunity to enter into His presence whenever they desire. Entering into the presence of God is the key to being in the moment and getting the most out of each moment. What a great reminder of my goal for, not only the Boston Marathon, but for every training run, and ideally, every moment of life: to share each moment with God by being aware and entering into His presence. Happy Easter!
