BH Chicks Day 4
I wanted to share my Brave Hearted Chick pick today that I am honored to call my friend! Becca Nimrod and her family just returned home from spending 3 months in Ruhengeri, a small town in the northern mountains of Rwanda with views of the volcanoes!! She and her hubby are paving the way for a Christian camp in Rwanda, changing one life at a time in a country that has been through tremendous pain! Becca’s incredible adventure in Africa is beautifully expressed in her blog posts… please take the time to visit! Her heart for Rwanda, orphans and friendships are inspiring.

I LOVE this contest, what a great idea! Today I am going to nominate our friend Jen Sloniger. Jen is a fellow adoptive mom through our AW yahoo group and is on the path to her second adoption from Ethiopia. Not just any child, but a beautifully, perfectly, God created child who is HIV+. Not only is her strength, courage and heart huge, her passion and desire to educate and increase awareness is impressive. The name of her blog says it all! She may not have as large of a following as Katie or Kelly, but from one mom to another who is doing everything she can to make a difference, I vote for HER!!
