  1. Can I get your e-mail. I have a shirt question. We ordered one awhile ago and haven't gotten it yet. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your story Redmore family!

  2. I am a NICU nurse and this story is bullshit! Anytime a baby is born to a drug addict who is high on drugs, the drugs transfer to the baby's blood. Stop making up lies and saying that the baby was born without drugs in her system. They ALWAYS have drugs in their blood and urine. I have worked NICU in the inner city for 20 plus years, and you cannot try to fool me.

    1. To Candace:

HOW RUDE! You do not need to be so crass just to "correct" something. WERE YOU THERE??? DID YOU TEST MY SISTER'S BLOOD OR URINE???? NO. I don't care how much experience you have… You were not there.

Let's remember your title…Nurse. Did you go to med school? Did you study medicine in any great detail? NO. You went to a bachelors program. Are you challenging the doctors? Medicine is not black and white, it is within an in vivo system that is dynamic and changing and hence cannot be completely understood. Every case is different – especially when God is in charge!

She MEANT that the baby had no ill effects from the drugs – that the baby developed perfectly and now has absolutely no developmental delays or addictions.

And do you honestly think that the writer was trying to "make up lies" and "fool" you? I'm sorry to say, but your comments make you look like the fool. Please think next time before you randomly call REAL people liars and frauds. And let's not forget the real meaning (and reason behind) this blog – the amazing power of God in our personal adoption story. These silly details don't even matter.

MOMMA B – Wonderful record of the adoption stories! WE LOVE YOU!!!! We are so blessed to have such wonderful sisters and brother in our family now!

  3. I loved this story! Very inspirational for me on a personal level; I have the same desire to adopt and the same response from my husband. With God, absolutely anything is possible. Many of our God stories would sound like total fiction – but we know – as crazy as it is, he's done it all every time! Blessings to your family!

  4. Thanks for sharing your story. I loved reading it, i am very touched with the spirit. It is very similar to ours. We have 2 children by birth and 5 by adoption. It took my husband a while to be at the same place I was but the Lords timing is always perfect. Our last 3 were all born in 2 1/2 yrs. (siblings) through the foster care system. We got them at newborn, 12 months, & 2 1/2. Wow what a shock to our family that was. We too wondered if after 2 grown children and our youngest being 8 if we should take in these three forever but the Lords plan in perfect and we are so happy & blessed by being guided by him. Our oldest is 22 and our youngest is 2. We also have a new grand daughter that is 18 months.

Families are what life is all about!!!!

  5. I am also a nurse and think both DIL of BB and Candace are being very rude.

DIL of BB-how dare you denegrate nursing the way you did! I studied for 4.5 years to get a Bachelor of Science in Nursing-Dr's in Australia study for 5 years.

I know alot of nurses who know more than a lot of doctors, and also a lot of brilliant doctors.

Candace-God performs miracles. If you do not believe that then you are not a believer.
