  1. Well, of all the movies up for best picture I've only seen The Blind Side and UP, but I *loved* The Blind Side– definitely my favorite movie this year– so here are my votes.

    1. The Blind Side

    2. George Clooney

    3. Sandra Bullock

    4. UP

    5. Mo'nique

Oh, and I'd wear the pink dress. 😉

  2. Im with Frutiful Jenn I LOVED LOVED LOVED The Blind Side and Up. My all time favorite movie and cartoon (or animated film if we have to get technical :o) I did not see any of the other movies in the other categories..I think those were questions 2 and 5.

    So….

    1. The Blind Side

    2. ?

    3. Sandra all the way (I was super impressed with her and Tim in this movie)

    4. UP

    5. ?

Great idea!!! Oh yeah, I would also go for the purply pink dress!! It is fun and looks flattering…although I am not too sure what the girl needs to flatter :o)

  3. I really loved The Blind Side and I've watched UP more times than I can count.

    1. The Blind Side!

    2. Clooney

    3. Meryl Streep

    4. UP, definitely

    5.Mo'nique

I'd go for the blue dress.

  4. Blind Side ROCKS, FO SHO!!! (My kids told me I AM Sandra Bullock in this movie, if only I looked like her!) I've been known to call up my kids' coaches when desperate times called for desperate measures (and I've even coached the coaches, too)! 🙂 Also known for being bold when it comes to injustice, and I'd have stood up to those gun packin hoods in a heartbeat. 🙂 I am NOT known for my meek spirit…praying for that to come, but it'll take a miracle! 🙂

I'd choose the far right tiered cream with black accents gown b/c it's unique and romantic, a little shabby chic.

    1. Lorraine… yep, momma bears come out when our cubs get messed with no matter how big they are!!! I LOVED the Blind Side & UP too!!

  5. Kari!

I adore the Oscars, I have been counting down since they announced the nominees.

My votes are the same as your even though I am a diehard Meryl Streep and would be quite happy if she won…But I think Sandra was incredible!

I would either wear the pink dress of the cream and black dress.

I always throw an Oscar party. I follow a baking blog and the women just did some Oscar themed stuff. You should check it out, I am using a lot of her ideas for my own party tomorrow. The site is bakerella.com

I know where I will be headed next year when i am in Branson the night of the Oscars!

    1. Sarah, you rock sister… I add the site Bakerella to the post! Roger has always called Hannah "Hannahrella" and she loves to bake. Lets have an Oscar party next year & copy cat all the goodies from the site. Soooo cool! love ya

  6. I have only made it to 2 movies this year. One of them was blindside, which I loved. I think she could definitely win, her role was similar to that of Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich.

As for best movie, I am hoping it's not Avatar, and I don't think it will be blindside. I haven't seen the rest but I would bet on Up in the Air.

    My other un-knowledgeable predictions:

Jeremy Reener, Up and Maggie Gyllenhaal

  7. 1. Avatar

    2. Sandra Bullock

    3. Morgan Freeman

    4. Up

    5. Mo'Nique

    I like the blue dress!

Wish I could be there and Oscar Party with you!!!

  8. Blind Side. Love that movie. I liked both Sandre Bullock and Meryl Streep (I loved that movie as well:)

I would not fit into any of those dresses, but they are all very nice:)

  9. Definately Blind Side, it's on my calender to buy when the movie hits DVD on March 23. My husband and I watched this movie on a date night right after we decided to adopt our little boy and cried all during the credits and people were leaving, starring at us LOL it was funny. Such a great movie. Sandra Bullock for best actress. I am on the same page girls. All those dresses are beautiful but I am afraid NO spanx could help me.

  10. Favorite movie of the year was Blindside!

    1. Blindside

    2. Sandra Bullock

    3. Morgan Freeman

    4. Princess and the Frog

    5. None of the above 🙂

I would wear the pink dress…

  11. The Blind Side was my fave movie.

I can't say that Sandra should win for Best Actress though. It didn't look like a stretch for her. I vote for Meryl Streep. She did an amazing job!

I'd wear something uber classy from Valentino and something to hold in my tummy.

    And a beutiful diamond bracelet.

And my hair in a updo.

And I guess I'd be really, really hungry since if I ate, I'd pop out my stomach support.
