  1. Kari, I love you and your cute giveaways! 🙂 I have three kids and hopefully more to come! The thing I love most about being a mom is how my kids keep me laughing…I can never get too serious with them around (for example: my 8 y.o. told her siblings the other day that the bank put extra money in her bank account “just because I’m interested in them!!” referring to the “interest” that she had earned that month). Love her! 🙂 I’m hoping my mom comes for Mother’s Day so we can share brunch with her and maybe even go to the garden store…Minnesota is finally warming up!

I somehow missed the window for buying the uganda tees last weekend…so sad about that! Happy Mother’s Day to you Kari. I hope you are loved well on your special day!

  2. After church we’re spending Mother’s Day with family. Hoping for a beautiful day by the pool so the kids can play. It will be a special family day since my niece leaves for Uganda next week to spend the summer.

  3. Hi Kari! I love reading your blog. It’s nice to check in daily with such a positive and happy person. I am the mom of two beautiful children: Bryce-20 and Alyssa-16. They are truly the light of my life. The best part of motherhood for me has been watching them both grow into happy, mature, kind, and loving young people. They truly are my best accomplishment in this life. I could not be any prouder of them. I hope to spend a relaxing Mothers Day with them and enjoy a special dinner out. Have a wonderful Mothers Day and keep up your great work!

  4. I am a momma of 3 beautiful children adopted from Ethiopia. I have 3 kiddos 2 and under. Claire is 2, Ben just turn 1, and Stella will be 1 in 2 weeks. The 2 youngest have been home for 6 weeks so this Mothers Day is extra special to me because we were able to get our babies home just in time to celebrate their 1st birthdays and Mothers Day!!!

The thing I love the most is being able to help them grow and learn. Plus snuggle time is right up there!!

For mothers day we are spending the day together. Going to church and then maybe I will get a much needed nap. 🙂

  7. Happy Mother’s Day, Kari! What a wonderful giveaway. Somehow I don’t yet have a Simply Love t-shirt. Crazy, right? It is such a blessing to be mom to my two little ones. There are so many things that I love about being a mom and one of the best things is seeing my children walk the path God has for them.

I’ll be spending this Mother’s Day with my sister and mother at the Beauty and the Beast musical. I’m really looking forward to it. Thanks so much for the giveaway.

  8. Kari,

You know I love all you do. I am proud mama of 2 kiddos, Jude and Lila. I will be spending my day biking with my family and having a picnic.

Did you ever read “The Missional Mom” by Helen Lee? I will send you a link.

Wish I was going with you to Uganda! One day…one day.

  13. I am the mom to 8 wonderful children. Child #8 is waiting in Ethiopia. We are hoping to have her home in a couple of months. I will be spending Mother’s Day loving on my kids, especially our little Sera who had surgery yesterday. She had extra digits removed from her hands and feet. She has casts on all her limbs so she is requiring a little more attention than normal. Still hoping we can make it to church too. What do I love about being a mother? EVERYTHING!! I love hearing them giggle. I love their sweet kisses. I love seeing them achieve more than anyone thought they would. I love seeing their relationship with God blossom. I love to experience their child like faith and their awe of creation.

  14. I LOVE your blog and your gear. I am in awe of all you are doing for orphans. It motivates me and God is stretching me more than He ever has. I am a mother of 4 crazy kids!!! I thank God every day for allowing the gift of being their mom. 🙂

  16. I have 2 biological children and 1 sweet baby boy from Ethiopia that we will be picking up next week. So, for my Mother’s day, I will most likely be spending time with my little sweeties and packing up for out trip this week!!!!!

  17. I have two children, both adopted, one domestically and one internationally. Our daughter is 27 and we have a 2 yr old grandson. Our son is almost 16 and adopted from Ethiopia when he was 12.

We are taking my mothter-in-law out to lunch, but not sure about anything else. Plus, our daughter just had back surgery so she won’t be able to do much. Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

  18. HI Kari!

I have four kids, one adopted from Ethiopia last year, so this is my first Mother’s Day with all four! I love it. I love being a mom because I love investing. Even on days when craziness seems to rule, I know I am making a difference in the lives of four kiddos. My favorite things to do with my kids are play games and have family time at home, so that is what we are going to do on Sunday. We have been running through May, and we need a quality family day at home. I am so excited!

Thanks for Simply Love! I wear my t-shirts at least twice a week and would love more. 🙂

    Happy Mother’s Day to you~Julie

  26. Love being a momma to my boys. Andy is 9 and full of energy & curiousity! Jonny is 8 and is lovingly known as our ‘joy generator’ – he can make anything funny & loves making us laugh!!! I’ve not been given details yet on what we’re doing for Mother’s Day, but last night we had a picnic in the park, grilled hot dogs and played frisbee, then kickball.
