  1. Kari,
Thank you for this post and for the update on your family. I am excited to hear the news about your husband’s job and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for your family now. I wanted to add one thing to the list of ministries that you all did during your 14 month adventure–you ministered to adoptive families picking up their children. I was a regular reader of your blog and then had the opportunity to meet you face to face at Beza Church in Ethiopia on my court trip. You may not remember me, but I am a single mom of twins, Beke and Keke (Evan and Anna-Beth). To travel half-way around on the world, worship in a foreign country and then by “chance” meet someone that I admire so much, was an amazing and affirming experience for me. I don’t know if I have ever felt God’s confirmation in my life in such a real way. Thank you for reaching out to me that morning!

    1. Thank you so much Amy!!! It’s been such a wild adventure, but feeling an adjustment (for me) having the kids all in school & Rog working in the office again! I’m so grateful to the Lord for His provisions & now I can start praying for ministry opportunities for me in my community!

    2. Amy, I forgot to mention YES I remember you!! What a blessing to love big on the adoptive parents that came to stay in Ethiopia during our 4 months!!
